We invite you to discover our usage tips to enjoy your candle in the best possible conditions.

Diptyque’s very large scented candles work in all living spaces. Whether in the living room or on the patio, the Maison's iconic scents elevate indoor and outdoor spaces alike.

To protect your surfaces, particularly if they're delicate (like wood or marble), it's best to place your candles on a felt pad (provided with the product) or a stand.

To ensure optimal burning and high-quality diffusion, place the candle away from the wind and direct sunlight.

Your journey starts here. We recommend lighting your candle with a match to avoid any risk of burning yourself.

Leave your candle to burn until the entire surface has turned to liquid (around 4 hours). Never leave a candle unattended. Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets, and away from curtains and any other flammable materials.

Snuff out the flames using a snuffer to avoid splashing hot wax.
After each use, trim the wicks (ideal length: 3 to 5 mm) to avoid the risk of fire and unnecessary smoke. Recenter them with a wick trimmer while the wax is still liquid for optimal burning next time.

We recommend you stop lighting your candle once the wax is only 5 millimetres thick or the metal wick sustainer becomes visible.

When using indoors, make sure to air the room out after the candle has been extinguished.
Inspired by the iconic Diptyque oval, a snuffer and wick trimmer ensure optimal burning to preserve and extend the enjoyment of candles. A finishing touch to complete the scented ceremony.
